An honour to be asked to contribute to the D&AD 2020 New Blood Academy Handbook. D&AD turned what is usually a two-week bootcamp for some of the world’s best emerging creatives into a free online resource for all emerging talent to learn from some of the industry’s finest creative minds and leaders. Each year, the team at D&AD partners with WPP with one goal in mind: to turbo-charge the careers of talented newbies entering the creative industry, and this year is no different.

I talked about what mutually beneficial collaborations can do for businesses to build on an experience, In the case of Uber + Spotify working together to create a great night out experience from home to cab. I also talked about the intention being right before you jump into a collaboration, don’t do it as a box checking exercise and really think about what each party could bring to the partnership.
